We actually teach Alevi religious education in Berlin schools as part of religious/belief education. However, to be able to teach in schools, we need to form classes of at least 8 pupils. For pupils who cannot receive Alevi RE lessons at their own school because there are too few pupils, we form as many classes as needed at the Cemevi (Alevi house of worship) and teach these children Alevi religious education there.

– In the 2023/24 school year (05.11.2023 – 23.06.2024) we taught Alevi RE lessons in 11 classes.
– In the 2024/25 school year (04.01.2025 – 22.06.2025) we also taught Alevi RE lessons in 10 classes.
– In the 2024/25 school year we plan to teach Alevi RE lessons in the period 10.01.2026 – 28.06.2026.
